Buying garage door remotes online

Beware! Buying garage door remotes online can be dangerous! OK. Now that I have your attention buying remotes online can be a frustrating experience if you do not know a few simples bits of information before ordering that lost remote.

Before you order know what your brand of garage door opener is. there is normally a label on the side of the opener that tells you the name of the manufacturer. Genie, Liftmaster,Stanley, Sears are some of the most common.

If you have the old remote , that is the best way to tell what you need again. Turn it over and look for the model numbers. Most model numbers stay the same so you can go online and see what you need. If you go to our site (U.S Door Control.com) you will see that we have all the manufacturers broke down so its easy to find what you need.

If you do not have your old remote you will need to find out what type of receiver you have. Different manufactures can have this information in different places. Liftmaster for example will have a black and white label that has a number on it like 41A5021-1C. Genie will either have a external box that has a label on it or a internal receiver that has a learn button . If it has a learn button it can only one type of remote called a Genie Intellicode remote. Once you find the information call us or visit our site. We have a large conversion table for Liftmaster here

You can also feel free to check out our newest site here Garagedooropenersonline.com. Here we have garage door remotes, circuit boards and even more garage goodies.
